Ethan Is 6!!

Were has the time gone? Our baby Ethan turned 6 years old today! I remember the day he was born sometimes it seems just like yesterday. He was our very stubborn baby. On April fools in 2005 he was a day old. He gave the dr's, nursing staff, friends, family and us the biggest SCARE! See Ethan was lactose intolerant. Well all the staff at the hospital was very concerned about Ethans color. This little stinker would hold his breath so he wouldn't have to burp. SO he was life-flighted up to phoenix and placed in the NICU. When they got there the Dr tells Bud and a friend at the time " Its just a milk intolerance!" So here is the 9pd in the NICU all because of a milk intolerence. Ethan has brought us so much Joy! There are days when he thinks it just the funniest thing to FIght with his brothers non-stop. But I know he and his brothers will be so much closer! He is in kindergartin and doing great!! The time is going by so fast. I just wish we could slow time down. Even though Ethan is wopping 63 pds he still likes to be cuddled, and sleep with his blankie. Here are some pictures of his first 6 years of life. What a blessing he is to our Family. I am hoping this year will not go by as fast! I will be starting my second semester this year! I am really enjoying school. The boys are doing so well at school. Ethan is loving kindergartin. I can't believe how fast children grow.. Seems just like yesterday when we brought these sweet little boys home. The oldest Kadin is going through some major pre-teens.. it depends on the day he is having if he likes us or not. We usually hear on a weekly bases on how "DUMB" this family is.. Then there is Alex who is going through constant middle child syndrome. He always feels picked on. Alex has such a big heart that if he gets his feelings hurt it's like the world has just opened up the flood gates. Alex has the sweetest personality if you can get to come out. Then there is Ethan our little monster. He can defend himself and does not take any thing from his brothers. But he is the first to snich them out. They all get along really considering their ages. We have our days were all they do is fight... but we also have days where they just get along great! One thing that I do have to say about boys, is that they can talk up a storm and just make noise to make noise. You would this boys were girls by as much as they talk.

They hate to go shopping unless it is with the GREAT AUNT CHARLOTTE. If we ask them you wanna go, they say nope we wanna stay home or go to grandmas. Sometimes it is so great not to take them.. I can go and get everything I need with out the hassle of them fighting, grabbing things off the shelf, and running a muck in the store. I dont know how charlotte does it when she takes all 7 of them to the store?? I am just amazed at how much respect the kids have for her.. But she is the lego queen and the kids just love her!!!

Bud is still working for T-Mobile and somedays are worse than others, but we are just thankful that he has a job. We have cheap phone service and great insurance. But Bud likes working for them, I think he enjoys talking to all kinds of different people even though some are dumb as rocks and should not have phones.

We just celebrated our 12th wedding anniversary. It does not seem possible that we have been married that long. So here is a little review of what is going on in the Gerhart house. I am going to try to blog once a month.

She was so much fun!! She has the best personality, and the camera just loves her!

Yesterday was Alexander Baptism!! It was a great and wonderful day!! Lots of people came to the baptism and then later that night we had a big fireworks party!! It was really nice!!!

CubScout Camp 2010

This year I had the great opportunity to be able to attend cub scout camp!! It was great! I learned so much from these little guys! It was only four days during the day! But those were the longest day's! We did so much walking! In one day we walked a total of 4.5 miles and according to my steps i walked 7500 steps... nothing like climibing hills, watching over 10 boys plus my own and having two den chiefs and three parents on a given day!!! I gained much respect for the leaders who put this great event together every year! these things take lots of planning and preparation! I really enjoy being den leader for the wolves I have the greatest Person that i work with her name is Misty Buck!! She is so crafty and ORGANIZED! I would be lost with out her!!! She has showed me so many things!! I am grateful to have her as my friend! I will post more pics of cubscout camp!

Well saturday was my bday and yes i am now 31!!!! my kids tell me that i am only 22 they are so sweet!!!! On friday night i went and saw montgomery gentry.... my dear sister-in_law watched our boys so that way we could go out!!! the concert was awesome!!! i had front row center seats!!!!! mind you i bought these tickets june 10 so i have had them awhile!!!! Then on saturday we went to the fair !!! That was a long day.... Poor Alex got a nose bleed then we went to county lline for dinner they have wonderful bbq turkey!!! Ethan was drama the whole time he didnt want to sit down so towards the end of the meal Bud just took him to the car!!!! on the way home i had to sit in the backseat witth him cuz he kept hitting his brothers and screaching at the top of his LUNGS just to hear him self make noise!!!! i will be posting pics soon of the concert it was awesome!!!! My wonderful sister comes in on thursday from Ga yeah!!!!! we are goin to have some sister time!!!!!

The kids go back to school on the 6th they are looking so forward to it!!!! I am writing this litte blog to say how thankful I am Tonight our children received a couple of presents from there secret santa!!!! Oh I also graduated on the 17th of december and I will walk with my class on the 7th of February I will be walking with Presidents list and Academic Honors' cuz I had a 4.0 yeah me!!!!!!

I am in the last week of my extern-ship and I have just taken my PTCB Exam!!!! I will know the results on the 29th of this month!!!!! I have a feeling that i passed it!!!!! Once I have passed this test I will be a Certified Pharmacy Tech!!!! Yeah Me!!!! I am so proud of myself I will know by the end of this week if I have been hired that would be totally awesome to be hired at Lovelace...... Well I have been on extern now for almost two weeks and I love it!!!!! Even though I am doing it for free it is the greatest experiance........ I have meet the most wonderful people. I hopeing that with in the next year I will be an instructor at Apollo as a Pharm Tech instructor so i can go in and teach people the wonderful skills that I have learnded and how wonderful it is to know that you are trying to make the patients well.........

The Big 30......

As most of you know today was my birthday and yes i turned 30 i am in such denial that i am the big 30.... I am only 29 and 3/4 not 30. Today was a good day. I went to work. Oh yeh I work for the same school that i go to learn at. I am almost done Yeah!!!!!! Only 24 more class days and then 32 days of externship I cant wait. i passed my math test yesterday Math always kicks my butt. But i conckered Math it is no longer the enemy. My instructor rocks we have so much fun in her class and at the same time we learn so much last week we made dry skin cream, and this week we are making Butt Bullets sounds like fun huh! Oh it is such a blast I have made some really cool friends!!!!! but I miss my friend Jenny so much she is my sanity next to Bud of course. Next week i am going to see Montgomery Gentry it is going to Rock they are my favorite country band Yeah Buddy!!!!! I will post some current pics as soon as I have some time that is!!!!

Oh the Challenges and Trials

Today has been a sad day at the Gerhart House. Last night we lost our beloved Grandfather he is the ROCK of the Gerhart family. We will all miss his hearing his stories of how Tom would do this or how Mary Jane and Nancy would do that. He has such a big heart and always had so much love to spread around. When I married Bud he welcomed me into the family like I was one of the kids as he did with Angie and Eric. His cooking was the best, Thanksgving with his turkey soup!!!! You see so much of grandpa in Charlotte, Ben, Bud, and Sarah. This year has been a tough one on the family. We have lost two very speacial people that mean a whole lot to this family. They will be greatly missed and the love that they had will never be broken. We are dealing with the lose as most people do, but at the same time we know that we will see them again soon. Grandpa Gerhart : loving, devoted, kind, giving, gentle, big hearted, husband, grandfather, and great grandfather to 7 beautiful children, Marion, Josh, Kadin, Kianna, Alexander, Ethan and dear sweet Carly. We love you and we will all miss you!!!!!

I am proud to announce that ALEX road the bus to school today!!!!!! We still have to pick him but today he got on the bus all by himself!!!! Kadin is doing very well in school and rides the bus to and from school withno problem we dont mind picking Alex up it makes his day to have us pick him up!!! And i a still going to school. I have a 4.0 gpa I am so proud of myself. I am taking two classes at this present time so that way I can graduate in January and I will be graduating with honors you can mark my word on that!!!!! Bud is being the stay at home for the time being which is working out perfectly because marie is spending alot of time in Espanola so he is here to watch the BEEF and the other two!!!!! School is taking up alot of my time but it will be worth it inn the long run. I cant believe that I am almost done. I will soon be a Pharmacy tech ( Certified that is very scary)!!!! I didnt think that I would get this far but I Have alot of sup port in this whole process. I will keep ya posted on our busy lives, here are some more pics of the summer.

A very BAD week!!!

I had my surgery yesterday and let me tell u it was not that great. Pitocin is the worst stuff in the world!!!!! I dont even remember cramping this bad after having a baby oh yeah wait i had something else to worry about other than the pain. And the smart ass coments I have been getting is well yeah you are gonna be in pain you just had surgery what do you exepect!!!! If i hear that i again i am just gonna tell them all were they could just take a hike off the BIGGEST CLIFF there is !!!!!! But other than that my surgery went well. i think we have finally gotten my womenly problems undercontrol. So right now at this present time I am loaded on PERCOCETS!!! They make me alittle grouchy, but they sure do take away the pain. Yesterday was the first day of school and of course i didn't get to take them to school and alex has cried for two days he is just having alot of stress in his little life. He doesnt understand the whole picture you know and of course he is just playing his parent's but alex is feeling very overwehlemed and very unsetteled that is mostly our fault. i am babbling i am sorry it is because of the medicine..... But at this time that is how i am feeling and i really dont care If i have offened anyone!!!!!

Tom, Carly and Sarah on the 4th of July after the big snowball eating contest. Having all the grandkids here was great they all played really well. Well we have been having so much fun with the family! All of the cousins are here and they are all having a really good time!!! We have taken the boys to the museum. Alex and I went and saw Kung Fu Panda that movie was so cute. On the 2nd we had a birthday party for alex he turned 6!!!!! We had pizza, games, a pinata and of course fireworks. Cha-Cha got here on tuesday because we are having a memories of life party for grandma this weekened!!! And then everyone will be going home. Oh the boys will all be so sad. We have all gotten to have so much fun I have pictures I just need to up load to the computer for everyone to see!!! I will be starting school next week and I am really excited!!!!!! We are still looking for a job which we have not had much luck........ So today is the 4th and we are gonna have a bbq and have lots of fireworks which we have not been able to do in almost 6 years because of living in az. It does not seem like our life is gonna get any better! We are still searching for jobs! We have had absolutley no luck!!! We are putting in lots of resumes and hoping that a job will come through soon. It has been very frusrtating for us. And if they things could not get any worse last night Bud's grandmother passed away! She is so much better off. So if everyone could just keep Buds family in your prayers as they are coping with the loss of a wonderful women!!!! She will be remembered as having a wonderful personality, smile and the way her eyes lite up as she saw you and her great kids. I loved going over to there house and sitting down with her and looking at the photo albums with her and hereing her stories. Dorothy Gerhart will be missed and will be loved by here family. We will look forward to the day that we will see her again!!! God be with you until we meet again!!!!!

Well our life change has become very frustrating. I am going to have to take a month off from school. Because they are running one month behind of mesa. I almost didnt get credit for the class that I just finished because the instrcutor didnt want to let the pharm instuctor give me the test by proxy. So I fixed her Happy Butt!!! I called the dean and talked to him and then a couple of hours later she called me back with her panties all in an uproar. She tried to guilt trip me!!! Didnt work I just remand calm and express my situation needless to say she was not Happy but i dont care I earnedthat credit for that class!! All I needed to do was just take the exam!!! On with Bud his boss is trying to guilt him about how he just needs to come back there for a month and leave us here and Bud told him no that was not going to happen because his family comes first and that it would make matters worse!!! So here we are gettting ready to start fresh. Bud is going to be looking for a job and at the same time I am going to get a part time job to help take some of the load off a Bud!! Bud's family is being very supportive through our little time of agrivation. But the kids are just loving it. They get to see grandma and grandpa everday!!!! They just love it as much as the kids do.So my school has been extened out one more month because of how there classes are set oh well. that just means I wont be done until to the first of January!!! We had an unexpected move!!! Right now we are staying with my inlaws in nm. The boys are totally loving it. We just came across a case of bad luck. But I am going to finish school and get my certification as a pharm tech. It has been very hard!!!! But on a better note Alex has just graduated from kindergartin!!!! It was the cutest little ceremony. Only one more to send off to school. It just seems like yesterday that they were all born. So as soon as we get our self setteled we let everyone know were we are and how we are doing!!! So whoever reads this please keep us in your prayers that will pass!

Well school is going great!!!! I have a 3.67 grade average I am so proud of myself who would have thought that, I would actually go to school and make something for myself and my family. I have so much support from all the family!!! Bud's dad is really proud also. My mom has just started school hereself and she is really enjoying it. Then my sister will be starting in August to become a surgical tech. The family is doing really well. The boys will becoming uo to nm for the summer they are so excited. We are still working with ethan on the potty training. where is grandma when u need her???? I have really taken up scrapbooking it has become my new hobby and I LOVE IT!!!! Well as soon as I get current pics of the boys and family I will add them!!!!

Well let me start off by saying that I am doing great in School!!!! I have just become Cpr Certified!!!! This past weekened was so busy we had a wedding, a dinner, a reception. a birthday,a party and a baseball game to go to. My Cousin Kori got married this weekened. She married then sweetest guy. His name is colt!! I gotto see family that I havent seen in years which was so nice. The boys had such a good time at the baseballgame. It was just the four of them I went to the womensexpo. I am now an official avon representative if you arinterrested!!!! I am going to try post more frequent. With school and everything I am just really busybut I have some current pics of the boys!!!

Well he is three now and he thinks he is so cool. I just cant belive that he is three. We are all doing really well. The boys like there new school and I am doing reallyn awesome in school. We are very busy I never realized how busy we would be with me attending full time and trying to raise a family. It is probably the hardest thing that I have done. But with the support from Bud and my great kids and my sweeet babysitter. Things are coming along!!! The kids just adore the sitter. She is one of 7 kids. I promise to post more pictures I have some from the this past weekened I just dont know how to put them on here from my thumb drive I am going to have bud show me how to do that. I am doing really well in school. I really enjoy the program. I mainting about an " A " average. there is lots of studing and writing. We are hoping to be baptizing Kadin soon but we have not quite set the day yet. We have to find a time that works for everyone and hopefully there wont be a big storm in nm for the family when they have to travel here. The rest of my family is doing well out there in ga. Well I keep everyone posted on the baptism and I will post pictures I promise!!

Well I am going into my third week and getting ready to take my second final. I passed the first one with an 89.5 and my final grade was a 95. So on monday i will take another final. On tuesday we will get started on a new section. I have learned so much in the past two weeks it so amazing as to how much your brain really does and controls. Well as of the 28th of this month i am officially a student. I go monday through thursday. From 6-10 in the evening. it seems really interesting. Well last week we had tom and marie here! We all had such had a good time! I will be posting pictures soon of all them at the park. the boys are quick to remind of what they want for christmas I told them if they were not good. Santa would only be bringing clothes. Kadin just didnt find that very funny. he Just turned Eight we ccant believe how big how big he is getting. My how the month is going bye! The boys are getting excited to see grandma and grandpa soon. The baby is almost potty trained with the help from his his baby siter she is wonder. I am a terrible blogger but it is so much fun to read about everyones life and see that things are going well for everyone! We love it down here in casa grande. Kadin will be 8 in two weeks. then he will get to go to cub scouts he is looking forward to that! I am really enjoying my job I have changed deparlments to much drama in commision. Well yesterday was our day to take the kids to the fair! They had such a good time. They rode some rides. We walked through the petting zoo. They even got to take some free pictures. Down here it cost so much to get into the fair that your can go see the concerts for free! Sooo last night we saw rhianna for anybody who knows whos she is. She puts on a very good concert. The kids really enjoyed it! The pictures I am posting are from our day at the fair. I hope you all enjoy them. The one with the parrots is the best I think.

Potty Training

Well we started to potty train Ethan about a week or ago. He thinks it is great! Everytime he goes potty he gets a piece of candy. We call the toliet the potty traing bus and he sits on there backwards. It works wonderful. He thinks he is so cool because he goes on the potty. No More diapers ecept for at night YEAH!! The boys are growing so fast fills just like yesterday I was having Kadin . How time flies. trhe kids are quickly reminding me how fast the holidays are approching. It comes quicker every year and the stores just rush the season. Well on a different note on Sat the 29th in my town we will be opening a new jc penneys we are so excited. I will be in window selling made to measure curtains and blinds. Sounds fun huh Lots of training. Will keep ya posted as to how it is going!

Well today I turned 29. Just one more year and then I will be the big 30! I am so not looking forward to that. The kids are doing great I dont have new pictures to put up. Because Ethan the promiscus decided to dmp my camera in the toliet. So I have not been able to take current pictures. The kids are getting so big. Alex is still having issues with getting on the bus or going to school. I think it just depends on the week we are going to have. Kadin has grown so much. He will be baptized in december. Ethan thinks he is so cool because he now goes to a babysitter and he is able to be left without crying. And he will now go to nursery with out crying that is such a blessing. Well I have started at JC Penneys we are setting up the store. Boy let me tell you what a job this is. Was not what I thought it was going tobe. But I really enjoy it I have met alot if nice people.I am trying to get myself noticed to prove that I am hard worker and a keeper. Well gotta run for now! Ethan is demanding my full attention!!

Challenges with School!

Well I have not written in a few weeks. I have been really busy with the kids and school and everything. Our little Alex has decided that he doesnt like to ride the bus.So everyday he freaks out as we put him on the bus he rides with Kadin and two kids from up the street. The one boy is in the 5th grade and he has been such a big help with alex in the morning. He will take pokey by the hand and walk with him to the cafeteria and then walk him over to kindergartin side after breakfast. His name is robert and his brother is Kadins class. Kadin has a really stict teacher. I think for the first two weeks of class all they did was go over rules and did minor work. But she seems ok. Alex's teacher is great! Alex is learning so much and learning how to write his letters he is so proud of himself. So to all who reads this please keep Alex in your prayers that will not fear the bus and make it easier for me in the morning!

Well the boys are home!

The boys came home on saturday. Alex got to fly for the first time. Oh they were so excited when they saw us. Now that they have been home our house is tring to get back to normal! Tommorow they start school. Today was the open house. They both met there teachers and they are really nice. Alex's teachers name is Mrs. Hefner and Kadin's Teacher is Ms. razo. The school they go to provides all there school supplies which is great for us. They don't even have to wear uniforms. The boys are missing there grandma's. They talk about all the things they in albuquerque with their aunt sarah and cousins. We are trying to break ethan from the pacifer we will see how well that works. I am looking forward to starting my new job! Only a couple of more weeks and then Ethan will got to preschoool to become independent. So that he will go to nursery. That is the one thing he hates the most is nursery, because we are not there holding his hand the whole time! More updates tommorow on the first day of School!!! We Finally got some Rain!!

Well we have gone so long with out rain. And today it finally rained liked for almost an hour!! It is such a welcome sight.Lowers the tempature!!!! The boys will be coming home next week from grandmas after spending a whole month with them in nm. They are ready to come home. Then it will off to school, and Ethan off to preschool! I will be starting a new job custom ordering blinds and curtains at jcpenneys. I think it will be excitimg. I will get to meet new people and learn a new talent. My family is well! My parents have finally gotten settled in ga. They have been there for almost a year. My sister and her husband live there also because he is in the military. He was just deployed for africa for 3 to 4 mths which really wont be that bad. So the only family we have close is about an 9 hr drive and that is just way to long with 3 Screaming kids!!!Well enough of my rambling on. We are doing well other than that!!! Hope everyone else is well!

I am having issues. I cant figure out how to add my picture for my profile. Then I cant figure out how to add my friends. So any of you who read my blog if you could please help me! The boys are doing really well at grandma's. They are ready to come home. kadin wants to have satelite back and alex is mama's boy. Ethan has become such a little stinker, he thinks he is cool because his brothers are not here!!!! We will be going to get them soon and they will start school on the 8th of August. Alex will be in Kindergartin. yeah we will see how that goes he hates to be away from mom. Kadin will be in the second grade. Ethan will be giong to day care so that way i can start my new job at JC PENNEYS at the end of August. We'll see how that goes also. Ethan can not stand going to nursery. Sorrry to be venting so much.
